TONY WILLIAMS

At Tony Williams Field at the Rail Trail Tunnel ~ you can see the massive concrete support that once held up the steel bridge, which spanned the Railroad bridge.

HAVILAND ROAD

At the Hudson Valley Rail Trail's Haviland Road location (75 Haviland) on your way to the Walkway Over the Hudson ~ you can look to your left and see a wooden bridge (that crosses the stream. This was built as an Eagle Scout Project

by Casey Rosen. 

GRANT AWARD

In 1997, the Greenway Conservancy awarded the Hudson Valley Rail Trail a grant of $3,000 to the Hudson Valley Rail Trail Association for the initial planning efforts for the Rail Trail.

In 2015, The Rails to Trails the Hudson Valley

the Hudson Valley Rail Trail, the Walkway Over the Hudson, and the William

R. Steinhouse Dutchess County Rail Trail as the 30th Member of the Rails to Trails Hall of Fame.
